Doug Schultz - Owner/Agent (Lic #0611964)
Doug Schultz and his wife Shelly are the owners of Rural Ag Insurance Services,
LLC. They have two children: Daniel, a student at Stanford University, and Allyson,
who attends Saint Anne’s in Porterville.
Doug started in the insurance business after attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo,
and studying Agricultural Business Management. He has lived in and around the Porterville
area since the late 1960s. He has been a licensed insurance agent since 1982.
Shortly after starting in the insurance business, Doug realized that he wanted to
specialize in agricultural insurance, insuring farms and ranches and other businesses
that support the ag industry. Approximately 90% of the business at Rural Ag Insurance
Services is farm related.
Recently Doug was asked to sit on a National Crop Insurance advisory council for
Rural Community Insurance Services, a division of Wells Fargo Bank.

Rosie Landeros - Office Manager
Rosie has been working for Doug and Shelly since 1994. Rosie is married to Len Landeros
and they have two children, Jake and Jenny and a relatively new daughter-in-law,
Lacy. Rosie has lived in the Porterville area all her life.
Always available to assist you with your insurance questions and needs, Rosie either
knows the answer or where to get the answer. She is a very dedicated employee and
rarely ever misses a day of work.

Scott Hyder - Agent - Agent (Lic #0D98078)
Scott has been an agent for Rural Ag Insurance Services, LLC, since 2003. Scott
and his wife, Kirsten, have recently learned the pleasure of parenthood. Their young
daughter, Chloe, keeps them entertained and exhausted on a daily basis.
Born and raised in the Porterville area, Scott’s got an early start in agriculture
through his folks’ family-owned hay and cattle business. Needless to say, Scott
spent most of his school breaks bucking hay and branding cattle. From the field
to the classroom, Scott studied Ag Business at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with an
emphasis in agricultural marketing.
Since joining Rural Ag Insurance Services, Scott has gained valuable experience
and knowledge. He looks forward to assisting current and prospective clients with
their insurance needs.

Justin Clark - Agent (Lic #0F75569)
Justin Clark is the newest addition to Rural Ag Insurance Services, LLC. Justin
has lived in and around the Porterville area all his life. A recent graduate from
Fresno State University, he majored in Agricultural Business Management with an
emphasis in cattle management.
Justin is looking forward to a long and prosperous career in the insurance industry
and is eager to help anyone with their insurance needs.
